The Eastman K-1 Superlight carbon fiber/fiberglass hybrid cello case is a full-suspension case, meaning that no part of the cello is in direct contact with the outer shell of the case at any time, and the instrument is held in place with molded foam padding. The incorporated fiberglass layer gives this case extra strength and rigidity. The unique design of the cello case protects the back from scratches, and the case is reenforced at the neck, scroll, and bridge sections for increased shock resistance. Choice of wheels (new change) or no wheels.

The outside is waterproof, and the outfit includes a hygrometer for monitoring interior humidity. The case also features two bow holders and an accessory compartment. Built-in wheels and sturdy, anti-slip padded backpack straps make it easy to transport your cello however you see fit.

We strongly recommend also purchasing a set of security cables.

The K-1 case comes in the following colors, all of which come with a dark blue velour interior and have a high-gloss metallic finish:
