Stamp: Jul. Heinr. Zimmermann

Octagonal stick, silver winding, silver mounted, pernambuco

This bow has a vibrant, focused character. In the higher register, it softens, creating a buttery sweetness. In the lower register, it is incredibly vivid and crisp. Its lightness makes string crossings and quick passages effortless, and the balance of the bow allows it to sink easily into the string. In lyrical passages, the sound spins brilliantly, manifesting a glowing, syrupy resonance.
