Cecilia Rosin

The newest rosin for cello produced by Cremona in America and developed by Peter Bahng, famed violinist and son of virtuoso violinist Andrea Bahng. This rosin will be replacing the Andrea Rosin.

• Cecilia 'Solo' Rosin -is a dark rosin. It comes in a clear plastic. The top screws off, and the rosin is attached to the bottom.
• Cecilia 'Signature' Rosin - is a new, light rosin, using a unique blending method which enhances purity, while increasing the preservation of the original chemical properties of the ingredients. This new rosin formula helps the bow to give rich, full and expressive tones without excessive bite.
• Rosin Spreader - both rosins will come with a complimentary 'rosin spreader', recommended for use on that first application, and for future applications to more evenly distribute the rosin on the hair, and to remove excess rosin from the hair.

In some cases soloists may prefer an orchestral rosin because of the color, and vice-versa, and how well a rosin works for one is often a matter of personal taste. Feel free to contact us with any questions!
